💡Hey, feel free to suggest any adjustments or corrections in my text using the comments at bottom of the page. I’m learning English, after all.

1. My reflections

In this episode Amy makes us think about what are our goals for this year. She proposes to us “think big” about these goals as a way to move forward faster and realize what are our weakness, this is a first step toward to understand how we can overcome these obstacles that are holding us back to envolve.

To help in this thought, Amy shows up the concept called “Deliberate Practice” she will explain in tree podcast episodes a little bit more about this approach that can help the students overcome these barriers and have fast progress in learn languages.

The first thing to do is think how your English level were 1 year ago, which improvements and abilities you got after 1 year studying English. And independent how much you evolved; do not forget to celebrate the progress that you got.

Even that you are not happy where you are, Amy explains that is important to make sure that this year you will have a plan to reach your objectives.

The next three episodes will help to understand where you are stucked, and which activities you need to do to unstuck. But before start, Amy proposes that first and foremost you need to think big and reflect about what do you want to be able to accomplish this year.
